Sing Jazz 2015 kicks off with Chaka Khan and Incognito

The second edition of the Singapore International Jazz Festival kicked off in a big way. During its gala opening at the MasterCard Theatres on 5 March 2015, Sing Jazz Emerging Jazz Vocalist of the Year Award winner Melissa Tham, began the festival with an endearing solo performance before Cameroonian jazz bassist Richard Bona, the legendary Chaka Khan and UK funk band Incognito. The legendary R 'n' B diva, of course got the crowd tingling with excitement for the much-awaited weekend with her hits ‘Queen of Funk’, ‘I Feel For You’ and ‘Ain’t Nobody’, backed by the effervescent Incognito.
