Description

Following the success of Fantastic Creatures! in 2009, the ACM will present its second exhibition written with a younger audience in mind. Heroes of Asia features colourful displays and engaging artefacts from the ACM’s collection. The exhibition explores the legends behind some of the well-known and well-loved characters of Asian myths – many of whom are still well-known and often found in contemporary culture.

Some of the characters you will learn about in the exhibition include Hanuman the Monkey God of India, Rustam the dashing champion of Iran who defeated dragons and demons, and Mulan the warrior-maiden of Chinese legends.
