With the Youth Olympic Games just two weeks away will we see a toned-down National Day? Either way, Singapore’s 45th birthday celebration will still be one to watch out for. The Pledge moment, started in 2009, is an event for Singaporeans all over the world to join in the National Day Celebrations and realise a common vision of what it means to be Singaporean. Expect everyone, including shopping centres and restaurants, in Singapore to join in making this day special.
