Get ready to scream your lungs out for Jay Chou (above) and Maroon 5 (below) this September 21 & 22.
Maroon 5 and Jay Chou have been confirmed as the headliners for the F1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix 2012. More artists are to be announced as well, so fret not if you’re waiting for a particular artist to grace the Padang Stage.
Jay Chou who will be performing on 21 September has acted in various movies including ‘Initial D’, ‘Secret’, ‘The Viral Factor’ and even alongside Seth Rogen in ‘The Green Hornet’.
The Taiwanese star has performed sold out concerts in Singapore, and is definitely no stranger to Mandopop fans. Even his appearance to promote ‘The Viral Factor’ in Singapore saw the entire Bugis Junction packed with screaming fans. It is unimaginable how many screaming fans will be storming the Padang to catch the superstar.
‘Mine Mine’- Jay Chou
Singing songs like ‘Shuang Jie Gun’, ‘Mine Mine’ and ‘Ge Qian’, Chou will impress you with his rapping, singing and even ‘opera’ singing.
As if Jay Chou is not a good enough reason to head down for the F1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, rock band Maroon 5 will be taking over the stage on 22 September.
Fans, be prepared to move like Jagger with your favourite band as hottie, Adam Levine, heats up The Padang come September.
‘Moves Like Jagger’ – Maroon 5
With hits like ‘Moves Like Jagger’ playing repeatedly on local radio stations and even ‘Stereo Hearts’ which features Levine, there’s no way you never heard of Maroon 5, or at least Adam Levine.
The last time Maroon 5 was here, the ladies were going crazy over the boys, so most definitely there’s going to be loads of screaming people in Singapore this September.
